ZONES
We believe positive change will take place if the church continues to impact all aspects of life, in all parts of the city. Our locality & neighbourhood is the perfect place to begin.
MTN calls these local areas ZONES.
Zones unite churches, leaders and groups from every sphere of city life to bring change in their neighbourhoods.
Zones facilitate real change over a period of time when people build up relational trust, share ideas, and overcome differences. Zones can discover real community needs and take action.
In other words, a ZONE is a gathering of leaders from churches in a Mumbai locality who want to work together.
WHAT IS AN
MTN ZONE
HOW IS IT
CREATED
A zone often begins with a Pastors’ Fellowship.
Then other leaders of Ministries, NGOs, Businesses,
Educational bodies etc join the gatherings.
A ZONE
LIVES FOR
-
Deep friendships
-
A shared purpose, vision and mission

-
Serving of the needs of their neighbourhood

-
Sharing the vision and values of the movement
WHO LEADS
A ZONE?
Zones are collaborative, and usually facilitated by
a team of local pastors who are part of MTN.
WHAT DO
ZONES DO?
A zone works for the benefit of their locality and neighbourhood. It hosts monthly gatherings to:

-
Unite in prayer
-
Encourage and have fellowship
-
Seek God’s vision for the Zone
-
Participate in joint coaching and training
-
Develop strategic & collaborative responses to areas of need

HOW DO ZONES WORK?
A zone will assess the greatest needs of the communities in their area and respond to those needs.
It connects with other organisations in a neighbourhood such as local government, police, NGOs etc.
Zones and zone facilitators are spiritually covered by MTN’s Zonal Development Working Group. They serve, encourage, support, incubate, and pray for them.
CAN I BE A PART
OF MY CHURCH AND AN MTN ZONE?
Yes.
MTN is a secondary place to belong. Anyone who is part of an MTN Zone will first belong to their own churches and organizations.
LET’S SERVE OUR COMMUNITIES TOGETHER.
