PRAYER HELPLINE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. HERE’S YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN ANY INDIAN LANGUAGE OF YOUR PROFICIENCY INCLUDING ENGLISH.
The Toll Free 24x7 PRAYERLINE set up in response to the COVID Crisis is getting expanded to include volunteers across India. We would like to respond in a united way as the churches of Mumbai and serve this great need of our nation.

If you are over 18 and are willing to give some time to pray, you can volunteer! This helpline does not offer advice or evangelism of any kind. It is purely an opportunity to pray with those in need. You will need to attend a training session and follow clear guidelines as you respond to calls.

MMR PASTORS DISTRESS RELIEF
Support for Urgent Financial Needs
Many Pastors are struggling financially in the city right now. Some have been hit by sudden medical bills or decreasing income.
MTN has a fund to offer support to Pastors in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region in their time of need.
If you know of a pastor in need, or if you yourself have an urgent need, please contact caroline@mtn.city
Alternatively, if you would like to support Pastors in need, consider donating to the Distress Relief Fund.

The Jeevan Suicide Prevention Helpline created by ACT is getting reshaped and expanded to offer counselling support to anyone going through a time of crisis in their life.
​
What is a crisis?
A time of intense difficulty or danger. Feeling of utter loneliness, feeling overwhelmed, crippling anxiety, suicidal thoughts, inability to conduct one's daily affairs, loss of a loved one and other swirling emotions that cannot be expressed.
This helpline is in need of more volunteer counsellors. If you are interested in volunteering or being trained as a counsellor:

WILLS & SUCCESSION
In this terrible crisis, many families’ sadness and pain is getting compounded by difficulties after a family member has suddenly passed and left no legal direction for succession or inheritance.
The Legal Stream and members of our Zones have put together some helpful templates and documents to assist in issues relating to Succession and drafting a Will.

VACCINE AWARENESS
There are many more vaccine centres coming up in Mumbai but a lot of people are still concerned or confused about the Vaccine.
The Social Concern Stream can work with your Zone to host an online event with a local medical expert. The session could share reliable, up-to-date information with time for Q&A.
